dWhen Apple first announced the iPhone X in September, its main advertisement for the device included a relatively unknown song by dance music duo Sofi Tukker. Best Friend — which also features Nervo, The Knocks, and Alisa Ueno — became very prominent after the ad was viewed 8 million times in the 24 hours following Apple’s September event.

Good music has always been a staple of Apple’s marketing campaigns, however, and as a result, Apple has become known for its taste in music. Here are some of our favourite songs featured in Apple adverts throughout the years.

iPhone

Inside Your Head Eberg

The author Eberg is from Iceland, he is good at making electronic music, the song is collected in their 2016 album of Voff Voff.  Apple Hello is the first TV commercial ad, 25 different classic characters pick up the telephone and say Hello. The humor sense corresponds with this song.

iPhone 5

Red - Rob Simonsen

Rob Simonsen is probably the best simplistic music writer of our generation. His compositions usually only consist of 3-4 chords but the way he combines the octaves and timing are what make it so harmonic and pleasant, it's amazing how this one piece (also indicates to iPhone 5 ad) has so many different meanings to so many different people.

iPhone 5c

Rill Rill - Sleigh Bells

"Rill Rill " is one of the songs in Treats, a debut studio album by American noise pop duo Sleigh Bells, released in 2010. Look, here is one piece of the lyrics: You’re all alone friend? Pick up the phone then. Rill rill call them up. Tell them about the new trends. Just like the ad for iPhone 5c.
