With a new iPad family incoming in 2017 sporting different screen sizes, one new report shows that while Apple will be refreshing its massive 12.9-inch iPad Pro, it will also be introducing brand new models that will be fitted in the smaller screen spectrum, but their sizes are yet to be fully confirmed. Here’s what we have for you so far.
A previous report suggested that while the 12.9-inch model would be refreshed, there would also be a model in between the 10.5-10.9-inch screen size range. Right now, it is the model in between that’s giving these reports some trouble when it comes to accuracy because the exact screen size details still elude them. This isn’t strange because we’ve already seen previous iPad models from Apple so we know what sort of dimensions to expect, so continue taking this info with a grain of salt and wait for more details to arrive.
As the report suggests, Apple might actually have a better time selling tablets, even though there is still going to be a small decline in shipments. With lighter, portable and productive products such as 2-in-1 flooding the market, it is hard to help consumers shift towards an iPad purchase, despite Apple’s optimized iOS platform.
