The company released the phone to help contribute to the Global Fund to fight AIDS.
Apple has introduced the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition on Monday to celebrate 10 years of partnership between the Silicon Valley company and (RED). A portion of the revenue from the phone will go towards the Global Fund to fight AIDS.
"The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can’t wait to get it into customers’ hands,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said in a statement along with the announcement.
The special-edition red iPhone will be available online and in-store on March 24.
