A lot of users are complaining about random reboots on iOS 10. Here’s the complete solution to this problem.
This problem is more widespread on the following devices –
iPhone 7
iPhone 7 plus
iPad Air 2
iPad Mini 4
However, if you own any other device, you can use this tutorial to fix random reboots.
We will remove the following from our iOS device –
Corrupt packages.
Old archive files.
Since the jailbreak is still stuck in beta stage, this is expected. As Yalu is never going to be updated, this is your best bet right now. Now onto the tutorial.
Step 1 Fire up MTerminal Terminal Emulator.
Step 2 Enter the following commands –
su
alpine
The default root password is “alpine”. If you have changed it, use your new password instead of “alpine”.
Step 3 Enter the command given below –
apt-get autoremove
If it prompts you to continue, enter y and press enter.
Step 4 Enter the command given below –
apt-get autoclean
Step 5 Close MTerminal.
That’s all. Your iDevice will now get cleaned up properly. This will make your jailbreaking more stable and prevent your iDevice from restarting out of the blue.
