The @pwn20wnd team took to Twitter to announce that they have successfully managed to get jailbreak tweaks running with Cydia Substrate on iOS 12. That’s a major breakthrough and paves the way for the release of the first public iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2 jailbreak.
Don’t get your hopes too high for a public release of unc0ver jailbreak update with Cydia Substrate support for iOS 12 though. While it will come sooner than later, there are still some other issues the team needs to take care of. This includes fixing a bug in the CoreTrust workarounds, fixing some sandbox patches, and more.
I am tempted to release a new public beta with what I have. We will see.

Thankfully, the team is tempted to release a public beta so you won’t have to wait around for long. While the pwn20nd team has added partial support for iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4 to unc0ver, it is still lacking support for A12 Bionic devices like the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR.
If you own any other iPhone or iPad running iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2, you are in luck as you will be able to jailbreak it once a relevant version of unc0ver is released. And if you are running iOS 12.1.3 or iOS 12.1.4 on your iPhone or iPad, you can still downgrade it to iOS 12.1.1 beta 3. You will have to live with some annoying beta pop-ups but at least you will be able to jailbreak your device.
