Apple: Siri Loses 15% of Its Users But Remains the Most Popular Voice Assistant

Siri lost more than 7 million users in one year. The information comes from Verto, specialized in the analysis of consumer data from applications. The data released by the company attests to the still overwhelming popularity of Siri. For example, the Apple assistant is twice as popular as the Samsung S Voice voice assistant, relegated to second place in the ranking.

Siri is currently reaching 41 million users. At first glance, the situation does not seem so catastrophic. And yet! By 2016, Siri had a total of 48 million users. Why have 7 million users left the voice assistant of their iPhone or iPad since last year? Siri is it has-been? Will it need to be replaced by the Google Assistant?

The figures speak for themselves: in one year, the total monthly usage and frequency have also plummeted. In one year, Siri lost 15% of its users! Hence the question: who still uses the smart assistant? Who is the typical user of Siri?

According to statistics provided by Verto, it is people over 55 who would most regularly use the voice assistant of their iPhone. Women would also be more likely to interact with Siri than men.

Will the future Apple Homepod, expected for this end of year, reverse the trend and revive Siri?
