Apple is set to open a relocated store within Raleigh, N.C.'s Crabtree Valley Mall this Saturday, taking advantage of the move to almost double in size.
New details were highlighted in a Twitter post by podcast host Will Sigmon, noticed by MacRumors. The new shop is on the second floor, next to Sephora and above Aldo.
The updated location will occupy some 9,000 square feet, and presumably adopt most of Apple's latest retail aesthetics, such as fashion-style wooden shelving and an oversized video display.
The currently outlet — across from Journeys — dates back to June 2006 and is much smaller than most Apple stores opened in the past few years.
The company's U.S. retail plans have generally shifted towards relocations and renovations, since most major cities now have at least one location. A recent exception is its new Downtown Brooklyn outlet, at the corner of Flatbush and Ashland.
