What time will the event start:
The event is set to kick off at 10:00 am PT or 1:00 pm ET. Check out our post to find out the Apple’s September 12 iPhone X Event start time in your time zone.
The good news is that Apple has announced that it will be live streaming the event, so you can watch the September 12 iPhone X event on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows or Android device. If you need help, then you can follow the instructions below.
Apple TV 4
If you have the new Apple TV 4 then download the Apple Events app from the tvOS App Store for free if you haven’t done so already.
Apple TV 3 and Apple TV 2
If you have Apple TV 3 or Apple TV 2 with Apple TV software 5.0.2 or later, then navigate to “Apple Events” channel with the Apple logo (like the one above) on the main menu to watch the event live on your television.
Mac
If plan to watch it on your Mac, then launch Safari browser and point it to the following URL.
iPad, iPhone or iPod touch
If you plan to watch it on your iPhone or iPad, then point mobile Safari to the same URL.
Windows 10
Windows users can also live stream the event on their PC officially. But there’s a limitation. You can only do it if only on the Microsoft Edge browser which comes with Windows 10.
If you’re on Windows 10, then point Microsoft Edge to the following URL.
Windows/Android
The live stream officially works only on the Mac, iOS devices and more recently Windows 10. However, you can use the following workaround to watch Apple’s September 12 iPhone X Event live stream on older Windows or even on an Android device:
Download VLC, the VideoLan media player.
Windows users can download the VLC app from this link.
Android users can download the Android app from this link.
Launch the VLC app.
Navigate to the ‘Media’ tab and select ‘Open Network Stream’.
