Apple has made visionOS 1.0.1 available as a day-one update for Apple Vision Pro owners, likely with various bug fixes and minor changes.
Since Apple Vision Pro hasn't officially launched to the public, Apple doesn't disclose when updates are available or what they might contain. Until late Tuesday, January 23, visionOS had remained on version 1.0 with internal build updates.
The visionOS 1.0.1 update was first discovered by X user @nicolas09F9. It is build number 21N311, up from the visionOS 1.0 beta 7 build of 21N305.
Initial review units will likely arrive in reviewer's hands soon, so the day-one update likely needed to be pushed to address any immediate issues ahead of critiques. The update will be needed on every device when users get them on February 2.
