Apple Music Classical Will Soon Expand into Japan, China, Korea, and More

Apple's classical music streaming service is gearing up to expand to more countries, with users in Japan, China, Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan now able to download the app ahead of the launch.

Launched in March of 2023, Apple Music Classical provides curated access to a range of classical and classical-inspired music.

While the app has been available in many countries at launch, it was announced on Tuesday that it would soon be coming to even more.

Apple Music Classical offers more than 5 million tracks in Hi-Res Lossless audio and Dolby Atmos. Users can also access metadata that includes composer biographies and key work descriptions.

The app offers exclusive content, including album walkthroughs from composers and experts called "Track to Track." Users can also listen along to "The Story of Classical" and learn more about classical music through commentary between tracks.
