It has been almost a week since we reported that the eagerly anticipated Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak is “fully complete,” but the jailbreak hasn’t been released yet.
If you are wondering what is causing the delay, then it is because the initial remount code is not very stable. Coolstar is waiting on Spark Zheng, iOS Hacker and engineer, to provide a more stable solution for the initial remount. It is also very important that they test it thoroughly as there is a risk of bricking the iOS device.
Zheng has asked to be patient. So please be patient and avoid annoying coolstar by asking for the release date for Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak.
As we have mentioned previously, Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak will also be a semi-tethered jailbreak like Electra iOS 11.1.2 jailbreak. A semi-untethered jailbreak is similar to an untethered jailbreak, it gives the ability to reboot your iOS device on its own. On each boot, the iOS device startup sequence is unmodified and it boots into its original, non-jailbroken state. However, instead of needing to use a tool from a computer to re-jailbreak the iOS device again, like a tethered or semi-tethered cases, the user can re-jailbreak their device with the help of an app running on the iOS device such as the Electra app in case of Electra jailbreak.
It will support all iOS 11 versions except for iOS 11.4 and iOS 11.4.1 which is currently in beta as Apple has patched the iOS 11.3.1 kernel exploit released by Ian Beer in iOS 11.4. So it will support iOS 11.2, iOS 11.2.1, iOS 11.2.5, iOS 11.2.6, iOS 11.3, iOS 11.3.1 and also iOS 11 – iOS 11.1.2.
If there is any update, we would update on Facebook and Twitter.
