While Apple Inc. is designing more of its own components, the company still relies on global supply chain for parts supporting functions like wireless charging, facial recognition, and some processors.

IFixit published an early analysis of the guts of the iPhone X on Friday. Here are the main providers of iPhone X components


Qualcomm Inc. and Intel Corp. for modems

Skyworks Solutions Inc. for other wireless components

NXP Semiconductors NV for the near-field communication chip that powers Apple Pay

Broadcom Ltd. for other wireless components

Toshiba Corp. for flash storage

Cirrus Logic Inc. for audio components

Texas Instruments Inc. and STMicroelectronics NV for other components
