Professions( here’s that awesome new astronaut emoji)

This is my favorite category by far. Apple added many new kinds of emojis, many new professions( with gender diversity). In fact, with iOS10.2, all new and old profession emojis have female and male versions. There will be pregnant woman, too.

Here’s a small sample of this kind of new emojis, but it doesn’t stop there.

Foodie’s croissant

The good news is that foodie who love croissant so much will be able to use an emoji soon. When you show this emoji to someone, it seems to be an effective one.

And if you love animals...

You’re in for a treat. Apple added many new animals. Whether you love ducks, lizards or sharks, you’ll be able to send a cute version of it.

Keeping up with what we do

Emoji can express something that can’t be expressed through words. That’s the reason iOS10.2 will bring a facepalm emoji, a sefile one and even a shrugging emoji.

And some redesigns, too!

Even the good old emojis are receiving a redesign. Most of them have been redesigned with iOS10, but there were some left. So here’s wave 2 of Apple’s big 2016 emoji refresh.

And if you’re still on iOS9 and you have no idea what I’m talking about, apple redesigned all the major emojis with iOS10 and added some new ones. The gun emoji is now a squirt gun. The rainbow flag proudly stands in the middle of all the other flags. And the poop emoji looks 78 percent better. I looked at all of them a couple of months ago.

iOS10.2 is still in beta, but you can expect to download the final version of iOS10.2 in a few weeks.
